On February 20th, River Hill's STEM club participated in the Central Maryland Science Olympiad. River Hill sent two teams and competed against dozens of schools from across the state in various engineering and testing events. Some of the notable finishes included a first place finishes in Anatomy and Physiology as well as Astronomy, a third place finish in Forensics, and 4th place finishes in both Protein Modeling as well as Experimental Design. With this performance, River Hill's team qualified for the state tournament on April 23rd at John's Hopkin's University.
