Time: 7:00 pm- 10:00 pm , Students must arrive before 8pm. No students will be permitted to enter past 8pm.

Where: River Hill High School, Stadium (Outdoors)

*Note High heeled shoes are not permitted on the dance floor; high heels must be removed.

  • Online ticket sales begin: Monday, August 13
  • Cash sales during all lunch shifts: Thursday, September 17

Guest Form Requirements

Deadline: Completed guest forms (including all student/guest information and required signatures) must be submitted to the front office no later than: Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 2:35 PM

Approval Required: Guest forms must be reviewed and approved by the school before purchasing a guest ticket.

Forms submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

 

Ticket Pick-up

*Homecoming Tickets will be available for pick up on the following dates during lunch shifts in the Blue Room. 

September 23th - 9th and 10th grade

September 24th - 11th and 12th grade

 

How to Enter: 

All attendees must enter through the main Stadium Gates.  In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made the day before.  If that is the case students will then enter at the  Cafeteria Patio Doors where they will be checked in. 

Ticket & ID must be presented for entry.

Arriving at the Dance

  • All students and all guests will need their ID and physical ticket to enter the dance. Enter through the main doors of the school.
  • Guests must arrive and enter the dance with the RHHS student who invited them and purchased their ticket.

 

Coat/Bag Check:

There will be NO COAT/SHOE/BAG Check this year. If you need to bring a small wristlet size purse that is allowed but it will be searched before going into the dance. That means no backpacks etc. will be allowed to be brought in.

 

Exiting the Dance if the dance is held in the stadium:

Students will enter and exit at the same place! The large gate in the front!  There is no re-entry at any HCPSS event. Once a student leaves, they may not re-enter.  

Students will not be permitted to go to their car and come back to the dance.

Students will be permitted to leave out the gym doors.  

 

Information About the Dance

  • Dance is 7pm -10pm. Students will enter at the Stadium gates. The Homecoming Dance will be in the Stadium. Students must arrive before 8pm. No students will be permitted to enter past 8pm.
  • All school rules are in effect, including the HCPSS Drug and Alcohol Policy.
  • No backpacks or purses may be brought into the event. Students will be asked to check purses at the coat check and should not bring bags or backpacks. A small clutch bag will be permitted and is subject to search.
  • Students will not be permitted to re-enter the dance once they leave.
  • Please arrange for a timely pick-up at 10pm from the stadium or car rider drop off circle.

  • ** In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made to move the dance inside the GYM.  If that is the case students will enter through the patio doors by the cafeteria.

     

Expectations

  • Have fun!
  • Many students choose to wear semi-formal clothing, and some dress more casually. 
  • High heeled shoes are not permitted on the dance floor/turf; high heels must be removed.
  • Students are expected to follow the HCPSS dress code.
