The Department of Community Resources and Services, through Howard County Voices for Change, has announced the first annual Youth Shark Tank Opportunity. Participants will be competing for a grant of up to $500 for their student-led organization to use on a project working towards bettering their community.
A Letter of Interest must be submitted and should include the following information:
- • Organization name
- • Organization purpose
- • Advisor contact information
- • Project desired including desired outcomes after project
- • Spreadsheet of budget with money needed and specifically how it will be spent
Letters of Interest should be limited to three pages, double-spaced and will only be considered from student-led organizations based within Howard County. After review, qualifying organizations will be invited to present to a panel of judges and audience on January 25, 2019.
