River Hill High School Proudly Presents Mamma Mia! February 20-23, 2025
Clarksville, MD — Get ready to dance, sing, and fall in love as River Hill High School brings the smash-hit musical Mamma Mia! to the stage! Featuring ABBA's timeless hits, this energetic production will run February 20-22 at 7:00 PM and February 23 at 2:00 PM in the River Hill High School auditorium.

Directed by River Hill theatre teacher Meghan Meyer, with vocal direction by choir director Ashley Kitchelt, choreography by dance teacher Sallie Byrd, and additional student choreography by Zoe Remick and Rebekah Santos, Mamma Mia! promises an unforgettable evening of high-energy performances and heartfelt storytelling. The live orchestra pit will be directed by music teacher Isaiah Shim, bringing ABBA's beloved melodies to life.
The cast includes an incredible lineup of talented senior students: Dara Asante, Patrick Deng, Abby Heineman, Jonathan MacKrell, Samantha McGowan, and Bhavika Vyas. Behind the scenes, senior stage managers Michael Gerdes and Daniel Dzubak lead a hardworking crew, including Hue Le, Katarina Thompson, Zehra Thakkar, Ayah Hassan, Maggie Orlofsky, and Carolina Alphonso.
“Mamma Mia! is a story about love, connection, and the bonds we share with others,” says Meghan Meyer, the show’s director. “These themes echo the core of what we strive for in River Hill Theatre Arts: to be good, kind humans who uplift and support one another. I’m so proud of our students for embodying these values both onstage and off.”
