On December 21st, 12 River Hill GT Research alumni visited current research students for a College Symposium during all lunch shifts. The alumni (returning from Yale, UC Berkeley, the VCU BA/MD program, UMD, University of Oregon and more) took time out of their winter breaks to speak about their first semester of freshman year in college, specifically discussing how their research helped them and providing tips for housing, organization, clubs, and more. It was great to have the alumni back, and we appreciate their insights and advice.
