Collection & Distribution of Materials

As we approach the end of the first semester, now is the time to prepare for the upcoming collection of materials at RHHS. This process will be a little different from the beginning of the school year collection and it will require you to follow directions carefully and on time. 

The collection day for Semester 1 will begin on Wednesday, January 27th and the distribution day for Semester 2 will be Wednesday, February 3rd.  The morning session will run 9-11 AM and the pm session will run 1-3 PM.  All collected materials will be quarantined, re-inventoried, and distributed in this tight timeframe.

General Guidelines

  1. Our number one priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of every student, staff and family member.  
  2. Students and parents/guardians should remain in their cars and adhere to social distancing guidelines throughout this process. Students and parents/guardians must wear masks.
  3. Staff members will be wearing masks. Staff should also adhere to social distancing guidelines throughout the process by remaining at least 6 feet apart at all times. 
  4. Drop-off will be at separate tables for department textbooks and materials, so cars should be prepared to make several stops.  If you only have one item to drop off, you will still be expected to follow the single car lane and only pull out of that lane to exit the school property.  It will be important for everyone to be patient and drive safely. 
  5. Each item must be in a separate plastic bag.  Each bag should include this form or an index card/paper with the required information.
  6. Students and parents/guardians will not be allowed entry into the school building for any reason.
  7. Instrument Collection: Students should check with their music teachers for any additional directions.
