Spirit Week begins on October 7th!
Show your school spirit, and earn Top of the Hill points for your class! All you have to do is dress up and check-in at the SGA table outside of the cafeteria during your lunch shift each day! Here are the scoring guidelines(https://bit.ly/2m0nt8Z ) for how many points your outfit can earn. The class with the most points at the end of the year will be able to attend a special picnic. Please remember that the school dress code and all the school rules still apply.
Monday, October 7th:
Let's kick off spirit week with Maryland Monday! Maryland Monday is on October 1rst. Show your spirit and American Pride; dress up in your favorite patriotic gear to earn Top of the Hill Points For your class. Don't forget to check in with the SGA table during your lunch.
Tuesday, October 8th:
Show your school spirit and participate in Tropical Tuesday! Dress up in your favorite floral shirt and leisurewear to earn Top of the Hill points for your class! Don’t forget to check in with the SGA table during your lunch!
Thursday, October 10th:
This year’s homecoming theme is “Pixar”. Dress up in your class’ theme on Thursday, October 10th to earn top of the Hill points for your grade. Don’t forget to check in with the SGA table during your lunch!
Friday: October 11th
Class color day! Show your class spirit, and hawk pride, by wearing your class color. Don't forget to earn top of the hill points for your grade; check-in at the SGA table during lunch.
Top of the Hill Competition:
The Top of the Hill competition is a year-long competition between the classes. Each class can earn points throughout the year by participating in various SGA sanctioned events. The first major event to earn class points is during the spirit week. Each day that a student dressed up for the theme, they can check-in at the table outside the cafeteria and earn points for their class. The class with the best hallway will earn points. Why do all these points matter? At the end of the year, the class with the most points will earn a picnic for their entire class.
