Student Schedules (August 30th Update)

Your student’s 2019-2020 schedule was released electronically on August 16, 2019.  All students should bring a copy of the schedule on the first day of school.  Once a family has updated the Family File, you can log into Synergy and print the complete schedule.

It is a good idea to note the procedures, dates, and times for requesting schedule adjustments. On the first day of school, all students will need to follow the assigned schedule; if a change is needed, the student can stop by Student Services and request an appointment and/or the parent/guardian can send an email. School counselors will adjust schedules based on course availability and will process all requests as quickly as possible.  Students will receive an updated schedule and will be able to follow a new schedule AFTER the schedule has been adjusted and the student has received a printed update.

Schedule changes can only be made only for the following reasons: (Please do not request a specific period or teacher.)

  • The schedule is missing a class.
  • The student passed a summer school course and needs to update the schedule.
  • The student needs a course to graduate and it is not included in the assigned schedule.
  • The parent and/or student is requesting a course level change. Note that course level changes cannot be adjusted after Semester 1 per Policy 8020.

Seniors who may be requesting release time must produce documentation to the RHHS Student Services Office no later than September 15, 2019.  Students who do not have a copy of their schedules will report to Student Services prior to Period 1 on September 3rd.
