Any current sophomore or junior in Howard County may apply to be a Student Member of the Board of Education. The responsibilities are extensive. In order to qualify, students must be regularly enrolled in a Howard County Public School System high school, academically eligible, and a junior or senior in the 2018-2019 school year. This is a one year term position from July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019. Applications are located in the Guidance Office, and must completed by Friday, February 9, 2018 at 4:00 pm.
