Competing against almost 2,000 submissions from the best high school filmmakers around the world, we all should show support as they represent River Hill High this Sunday at in New York City.

Hours of work spent on writing the film's screenplay, shooting, and editing the film (incorporating the original music score composed by Mr. McCready) has paid off, as "Where It Starts"  has already placed 3rd in the 11th annual Howard County Film Festival and as a finalist in the MD state Baltimore High School Film Festival. The film has also been used as a resource for the Howard County health education curriculum.

Congratulations again to all the winners!
