Our RHHS students had an awesome trip to China! The RHHS students spent a day in our sister school, the Attached School to the Central Academy of Art and Design. We were able to attend classes and shadow students through a typical day that included calligraphy, Chinese history and English. We also enjoyed an hour -ong recess outside in the gardens of the school to play badmitton and basketball (USA lost the B-ball game!). Many of these students are still using the We Chat app to keep in touch!
We also experienced amazing days of sight-seeing: The Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Tera Cotta Warriors, the Panda Research and Breeding Project, Heaven Temple, Qingcheng Mountain and the Dutiang Irrigation System. It was a trip of a lifetime! Click HERE to see a picture of the entire group at the Great Wall-- BEFORE our climb!
We would be more than happy to talk more about our trip so please see one of our travelers. Mr. DiFato, Mrs. Coe, and Ms. Liang chaperoned the trip. We will also have a slideshow and artifact table ready for the 20th anniversary celebration to share with our community. Be sure to stop by!
