NASSP, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and the American Federation of School Administrators have declared the week of April 11–15, 2016, as National Assistant Principals Week to honor and recognize the contributions of assistant principals to the success of students in schools across the United States.
Be sure to thank our River Hill High School Assistant Principals for all they do. Each Assistant Principal oversees a student caseload and each Assistant Principal is responsible for various programs and departments throughout the building. They work tirelessly to ensure that our students have an adult they can count on as they learn to advocate for themselves and accept greater responsibility for their achievements and challenges.
It would be great to go to #apweek on Twitter to share your words of appreciation and acknowledgment of the great work APs do year-round. Or feel free to email a personal message. Let's set a goal of 100 emails of appreciation for each AP.
