The Columbia Rotary Club is sponsoring the 36th Robert Davidson Scholar Athlete Awards Program for Howard County high school graduating seniors. Two winning and runner up awards of $2,000 and $1,000 will be given to top male and female scholar athletes. The students will be recognized at our Rotary awards dinner which will be held at Howard Community College on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
Information and applications for the scholarships can be found on our Rotary Club website at www.columbiarotary.org. Students must submit their applications and supporting materials online, or by mail, by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 15, 2016 to be considered for the scholarship award.
The selection committee for the awards includes representatives from the Rotary Club and community members. The selection committee will be seeking applicants who have distinguished themselves both academically and athletically during their high school career.
