BRAVO to Mr. Blackman and the River Hill Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble for their performances at the 2016 Howard County Band Assessment.  Both ensembles earned all “excellent” and “superior” ratings, and received adjudicators’ comments such as “You play with musical maturity well beyond your years,” “Very, very fine tone production, intonation, and confidence,” “A highly spirited, yet delicate performance,” and “That sounded like a professional recording!”  You can enjoy the music of the RHHS Bands at their next concert on April 29th right here at school.  There will be some great movie music featured on the program, and admission is free!
