River Hill has four state finalists for the 2016 Maryland Letters About Literature (LAL) contest!! This is a national contest sponsored by the Library of Congress where students write a letter to an author who has inspired them through their novels. They had over 42,000 submissions. The Maryland Humanities Council will announce the state winner later in April.
