Exams for Period 5 and Period 6 will be administered the first day we return to school.

NOTE: As of January 30, 2016 at 11:30 AM, the following information is updated. 

• February 1, 2016 is an A Day. 
• Students should be preparing for Period 5 and Period 6 exams.
• Semester 2 classes begin on February 2nd.  Students will report to Semester 1 classes on Monday to review exam grades.
• Quarter 2 will end on February 1, 2016 and report cards will be sent home on February 9, 2016.
• We will post additional updates as needed.

If we have a Delayed Opening for our return to school, our schedule will be as follows:

Period 5 Exam  9:25 - 11:05
Period 4  11:05-12:25 (break and prep time will be provided)

• A Lunch   11:05 - 11:25
• B Lunch   11:25 - 11:45
• C Lunch   11:45 - 12:05
• D Lunch   12:05 - 12:25

Period 6  Exam 12:30 - 2:10
 

If we have a FULL DAY schedule for our return to school, our schedule will be as follows:

Period 1           7:25 – 7:45            20 minutes
Period 2           7:50 – 8:10            20 minutes
Period 3           8:10 – 8:35            25 minutes (announcements if needed)
Period 5           8:40 – 10:20         100 minutes (Exam)
Period 4           10:25 – 12:25       (10 minute break and 30 minute prep time will be provided in addition to a 20 minute class)

Additional Updates

1. ARL students will attend ARL for the PM session. If we have a delayed opening, students will board the bus at 9:25 to arrive at ARL at 9:40. They will leave ARL at 1:50 to arrive back at RHHS by 2:10. If we have a full day schedule, students will board the bus at 9:00 to arrive at ARL at 9:20. they will leave ARL at 1:50 to arrive back at RHHSl by 2:10. Students should bring a bag lunch or notify the front office by 7:45 that they intend to purchase a bag lunch.
2. The Parent Conference window is open.  Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, Feb 4 (evening) and Friday, Feb 5 (afternoon).
3. The 2nd Quarter Grade Reporting window will end Monday, February 1 and report cards will be sent home February 9, 2016.  For now, parents can continue to access regular grade updates in the course gradebooks in Canvas.
4. Course Selection Materials will be sent home on the first day we return to school.  With all of the snow days, students and parents hopefully have enjoyed some extra time to discuss 4 year plans, review the course catalog, and make some preliminary selections for next year’s course of study.  RHHS plans to send home course recommendations and AP Potential letters based on PSAT performance, so that students and parents can select electives and alternates.  Course selection forms and letters will be distributed by 3rd period class assignments. This distribution will occur either during lunches (delayed day schedule) or during 3rd period (full day schedule). The due date for forms to be returned will be Wednesday, February 3rd; we all know this may be a tight timeline.
5. Athletic Changes are updated on the website.  Take a moment to adjust your calendars so you will be ready to show that RHHS spirit.
6. Join me in a huge THANK YOU to our custodial team who are already working hard to clear parking lots, bus lanes, and sidewalks.  Please allow extra time to get to school since intersections piled with snow hinder visibility and since typical traffic patterns may be altered as well.  Parking will be limited by huge snowpiles and all drivers should be cautious.
