So, what is this course all about?
On Wednesday, September 2nd, students received a Canvas orientation which is designed for students who have never used the Canvas learning system or who are just getting started. Teachers and parents can also use this as a reference if you have any questions. By the end of the orientation students should have gained a basic understanding of the Canvas tool set and be ready to begin using Canvas in their classes.

Math teachers facilitated a student walk-through in the Canvas Orientation course, which includes Announcements, Calendar, Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes as instructional tools. Students sign-in at HCPSS.me. They will be able to revisit the resources anytime for help in the future. We want to be sure that students have the knowledge needed to successfully use the Canvas student tools. Additionally, parents and guardians have access to a variety of exciting tools and resources related to your child's academic progress; please note that Canvas is also available as a mobile app for your smartphones. Grades, course history, attendance, class schedule, assignment calendars, as well as email notifications related to grades, assignments and attendance, are now at your fingertips.
