2018 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards

Craig Selbrede is being recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers in the 2018 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Craig wrote a piece titled Makeshift. He has been invited to the national awards ceremony in New York City in June.

Sankofa Award Winner

Senior Ogenna Umeozulu was named the 2018 "Sankofa Award Winner". A prestigious award given by The Council Of Elders which represents the concepts of self identity, academic accomplishment, and vision. River Hill High School had 20 seniors honored for their exceptional academic achievements by The Council Of Elders. Senior Laurence Crandon was a finalist for the "Sankofa Award".
