TOPIC: “What can the world learn today from Mahatma Gandhi”

Award: One High School student will be awarded a $250 scholarship for college. The name of the winner will be announced by the end of May 2019.

Who is eligible? All students enrolled in grades 9-12 in U.S. public, private and home schools in Howard County, Maryland.

Format? The essay should be 300-500 words. Entries must be typed, double-spaced and must be the student’s original work.

How to Enter? Entries must be emailed to contact@icahoward.org with “Essay Contest” written in the subject line.
