Fri, 01/19/2018 - 10:18am

River Hill photo students are exhibited along with other high school students at the Columbia Arts Center until January 31st. Photography is a very democratic art form. Anyone today with a smart photo can and probably does take a pictures. So why is it we “teach” classes in photography? This exhibit will explore the deeper understandings and goals behind teaching how to compose and take a picture; exploring ideas, questions, and goals that go beyond the technical. The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.- Dorothea Lange
