Parent Volunteers Needed for 11th Grade Interviews

Fri, 02/05/2016 - 1:03pm

River Hill High School Student Services Office is recruiting parent vounteers to interview our 11th grade students on Tuesday March 15th and Wednesday March 16th 2016.  This is a graduation requirement for all of our students. We are searching for people across a wide variety of careers and backgrounds to conduct interviews.  The interviews generally  last about 10-15 minutes and vounteers will be given a list of questions to assit with the interview. The students will tell you a little about their interests and goals. The students will also have the opportunity to ask vounteers questions about their education and career.  There will be two sessions for interviews and we are asking for volunteers. There will be a morning session (7:15 am to 11:30 am) on March 15, 2016 and a mid morning/afternoon session (10:30 am to 2:15 pm) on March 16, 2016.  Please check your calendars and see which day you would be available.  This is a great learning experience for our students and can be lots of fun for you too.  Please contact Mr. Ives in the Counseling Office at dives@hcpss.org or 410-313-7400 if you can assist with the interviews.  Thank you for your time and support of the Junior Interview Clinic at River Hill High School.
